The origins of the Fezer company go back to the year 1928.
At that time Messrs. Fezer and Stoll founded the company FESTO. After only 5 years Albert Fezer left the company and founded his own business FEZER. At the beginning wood working machinery was built.
Only many years later, in 1961, he got into the vacuum business. First holding plates for the wood industry were manufactured and then fairly quickly larger vacuum lifters for handling steel. The business of vacuum technology was permanently developed and very quickly reached a high turnover.
With the introduction of Mr Georg Komposch and Mr Michael Beisswenger in 1996 respectively 1999, both grandsons of the company founder, wood working machines were discontinued and the focus was set on vacuum techology. After only a few years the turnover could be increased and the high market requirements could be met by well-directed own designs.
The continuous growth in 2011 led to the foundation of the 100% subsidiary FEZER Shanghai which is supposed to cover the complete Asian market in the future. In the last years a healthy and solid growth could be generated which enabled FEZER to expand their high significance in vacuum technology.
